Welcome. A little bit about me…I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and have spent most of my life on the east coast. I attended the University of South Carolina for my undergraduate education and in 2015 I earned a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling/Mental Health Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia. After spending close to a decade in Virginia, it was time to take some risks and make a life change. After school I visited the PNW, inevitably falling in love with the outdoor accessibility and the PNW landscapes. It took me about 5 years to press go but I finally packed up my truck, dog and solo moved across the country to Oregon, without knowing a soul in Portland. Afterall what is life and living without some risk. And here I am.

Over the last 10 years my clinical work has ranged from working in clinical research labs studying the impact of CBT with substance use populations, working in the home of at risk youth, providing clinical supervision and more recently providing full fidelity DBT therapy at the Portland DBT Institute. My diverse population range has provided me invaluable tools and experience that help curate my own practice.

I currently live in SE Portland with my partner Kristen and our pup, Doc. I identify as queer and am in a monogamous partnership. As an introvert at my core, my interests include gardening, nature, music, record collecting, restorative wellness practice, biking, camping, skiing, adventuring, quality connection and relishing in solo idle time aka the art of doing nothing.
